Great Oaks College is a new specialist independent college, opening in September 2018 co-located within Oaklands School new state of the art, purpose built premises located in Gresham Road, Isleworth, close to Osterley Tube Station.
The college will provide further educational opportunities to post 19 students that have moderate, severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties or autism. We will open with 3 tutor groups of students on 3 courses. Eventually Great Oaks will offer 6 distinct courses in 3 pathways.
Our student numbers are rapidly expanding and as a result we are looking to appoint a healthcare assistant to provide medical care and support to our college students. We believe that all of our students are capable of making outstanding progress and we want to appoint individuals who share our belief.
When not engaged in providing medical care the healthcare assistant will be class based and will act as a member of the sensory pathway team delivering education. It is expected that as student numbers increase over a 4 year period that this role will move gradually towards a full time healthcare job.
