Eco Schools

At Oaklands we pride ourselves on our commitment to looking after our world, and we were ecstatic to receive an Eco schools award to recognise the efforts of our school council. The Eco-Schools’ Awards are designed to further highlight schools who have delivered, and shared, especially innovative, inspirational, and impactful Eco-Schools work - As part of our award we received a flag which was installed this term on the school flagpole in a ceremony attended by senior leaders, school council members and teachers. The school councils' next projects will be work with the London Children's Flower Society to improve our car park with new flower beds and also an investigation with Asthma + Lung UK into pollution levels in our local area
