Oaklands is an excellent special school based in Isleworth and serving the London Borough of Hounslow. Oaklands pupils have severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple difficulties and autism. This is an exciting time for Oaklands School which is expanding rapidly.
We are currently seeking to appoint a part time teacher on a 0.6 FTE contract to teach music to our students. If you are willing to teach other subjects in addition to music, a full time contract could be considered.
Oaklands School is moving into a new building in September 2018. Our new building includes fantastic facilities for delivering the music curriculum including a recording studio and performance space. We are looking for a highly skilled music teacher with the skills and ambition to develop our music curriculum so that our new facilities are fully utilised so that our students can reach their potential to perform and enjoy music.
