Head Teacher’s News -Summer 2026

As we begin the final term of the school year, it is wonderful to reflect on just how much our students have achieved over the past year. Their progress, resilience and enthusiasm continue to make us incredibly proud, and it has been a pleasure to see the confidence they have developed both in and out of the classroom.
It has been fantastic to welcome everyone back after the break. The students have returned settled, positive and ready to learn, quickly re-establishing their routines and embracing the opportunities that this final term has to offer.
We have an exciting and busy few weeks ahead, with a wide range of educational visits and enrichment activities planned. These experiences provide valuable opportunities for our students to develop their independence, build confidence and create lasting memories alongside their peers.
Preparations are also well underway for our annual school show, which is always a highlight of the year. We are looking forward to seeing our students showcase their many talents, creativity and teamwork, and we hope many of you will be able to join us in celebrating their achievements.
This term is particularly significant for our Year 14 students as they prepare for the next stage of their journey. Staff are working closely with students, families and our partner organisations to ensure that each young person is well-supported as they transition into their new placements for the next academic year. While it is always a bittersweet time, we are incredibly proud of everything they have accomplished and are excited to see them take their next steps.
As always, I would like to thank all of our parents and carers for your continued support and partnership throughout the year. Your encouragement plays an important role in helping our students thrive, and we look forward to sharing many more successes with you over the coming weeks as we celebrate another fantastic school year together.
