Our School
Welcome From Mairead Standring- Head Teacher
At Oaklands, we believe that all of our students can and will make outstanding progress during their educational journey with us. Our curriculum is designed to support young people to make progress, develop skills and become more independent. We work with parents to understand what the priorities are for each child, and we know that young people make the most progress when we work closely with families, so that we can both meet their needs and ensure that families always know what their child is doing in school and understand the progress they are making.
New Oaks is our primary school for 90 children, located at our site in Woodlands Road, Isleworth. New Oaks reopened at Woodlands Road in 2020 following redevelopment of the building. We are currently meeting the needs of children in Reception through to year 6.
High Oaks is our 200 place secondary school which includes our 3-year sixth form programme. High Oaks is located in our purpose-built building in Gresham Road, Hounslow.
We are proud of our success in meeting young people’s needs and are determined to continue to provide the best quality education to young people whose learning difficulties are severe or profound and autistic children who have severe learning difficulties. Our students' needs are at the centre of all we do to prepare them for the most meaningful, independent and fulfilling lives possible.
Our student needs and interests are at the centre of all we do to prepare them for the most meaningful, independent and fulfilling lives possible.
