Assistant Head Teacher – New Oaks Primary

Oaklands is an Outstanding special school serving the London Borough of Hounslow that provides specialist education to students with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple difficulties and autism. Oaklands has both a Primary school (New Oaks) located in Isleworth and a Secondary school (High Oaks) on our main Gresham Road site in Hounslow. We can cater for students aged from 4 to 19. Our primary school is opening gradually with years’ nursery through to Year 4 open in September 2021. The primary school will not be fully open until September 2023.

Due to expansion of our primary school we are seeking to appoint an Assistant Head Teacher to join our friendly team.  The successful candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience of teaching children with severe learning difficulties in a special school or supported learning environment coupled with middle leadership or leadership experience gained from working in a special education environment. We believe that all of our students are capable of making outstanding progress and we want to appoint individuals who share our belief.
